Jared Rawle grew up in Springville, Utah, where he cultivated a deep appreciation for the unique beauty that Utah has to offer. He developed a love for art at a young age, and spent much of his youth drawing. He has always known that art would be an important part of his life.
Early in his career, he was invited to get outside and traditionally paint with his colleagues. He was instantly drawn to the joy and challenges of plein air painting, as well as the immediacy and textural quality available with traditional paint. He considers getting outside to study and paint from nature his most valuable art training, and one of his greatest joys.
His goal in painting the landscape is to capture and celebrate the unique feeling of a particular place and time
